About Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine & Oncology

Founded in 1992 as one of the eight specialty practices within Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center (CVRC), Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine & Oncology is committed to delivering exceptional care for your beloved canine and feline companions. With convenient locations in Annapolis and Hunt Valley, MD, our team of compassionate, board-certified internists and oncologists provides expert, personalized care designed to meet the unique needs of your furry family member.

Our board-certified internists and oncologists bring extensive education and experience. These highly-trained specialists have undergone at least four years of advanced training beyond veterinary school, completing a residency in internal medicine or oncology and achieving board-certification by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM). Our specialists see pets on referral from primary care veterinarians or at the direct request of pet owners, after discussing their pet’s needs with their family veterinarian. This creates a collaborative relationship between the specialist, veterinarian, client, and patient, supported by clear communication and ongoing interaction.
