Dr. Caro Solomon (they/them) earned their Veterinary Medical Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania in 2020. They completed a rotating internship with AAVEC and CVRC from 2020-2021. Following completion of their internship, they continued to work as part of the AAVEC emergency team managing emergent and critical cases for 4 years. Throughout their time with emergency, they maintained a strong passion for Internal Medicine and the management of complex and critical cases. 

Dr. Solomon started with AVIM&O in August 2025 as an Internal Medicine Resident. During their first year of training, they have completed additional training in ultrasound and endoscopy. They are excited to continue to learn and grow over the next 2 years of residency and throughout their career. When they are not working, you can find them reading, hiking or spending time with their blind cats.
